group role

a coherent set of behaviors expected of a person in a specific position within a group. In addition to the basic roles of leader and follower, groups usually allocate task roles pertaining to the group’s tasks and goals and relationship roles that focus on the group members’ interpersonal and emotional needs.

a procedure that involves eliminating reward or reinforcement for an undesired behavior and instead rewarding a desired behavior. Also called rewarded alternative method.
