generalized seizure

a seizure in which abnormal electrical activity involves the entire brain rather than a specific focal area. The two most common forms are absence seizures and some tonic–clonic seizures.

respiratory disorder

a general term for any disorder involving one or more components of the respiratory system, such as the diaphragm, lungs, trachea, larynx, or nasal cavities. See also asthma; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
