flextime

n. an arrangement that gives employees a certain amount of discretion over when they arrive at and leave work, provided that an agreed period of core hours is spent in the workplace. Flextime allows workers to adjust their work schedules to nonwork demands, such as parental responsibilities. Also called flexitime.
