feeling type

in Carl Jung’s analytic psychology, a functional type characterized by a dominance of feeling or affects. Feeling types evaluate their experiences and the world in terms of how these make them feel. The feeling type is one of Jung’s two rational types, the other being the thinking type. See also intuitive type; sensation type.
