eszopiclone

n. a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Like the related drug zaleplon, it is relatively selective for a specific subunit on the GABAA receptorgabaa-receptor complex. Side effects include excessive sedation or confusion, dry mouth, and a bitter taste. U.S. trade name: Lunesta.
