ego weakness

in psychoanalytic theory, the inability of the ego to control impulses and tolerate frustration, disappointment, or stress. The individual with a weak ego is thus one who suffers from anxiety and conflicts, makes excessive use of defense mechanisms or uses immature defense mechanisms, and is likely to develop neurotic symptoms. deuteranopia

n. red–green color blindness in which the deficiency is due to absence of the cone photopigment sensitive to green light, resulting in loss of green sensitivity and confusion between red and green (see dichromatism). The condition may be unilateral (i.e., color vision may be normal in one eye). See also protanopia.
