Dora case

one of Sigmund Freud’s earliest and most celebrated cases, reported in Fragment of an Analysis of a Case of Hysteria (1905). The study of this woman’s multiple symptoms (headaches, loss of speech, suicidal thoughts, amnesic episodes) contributed to his theory of repression and the use of dream analysis as an analytic tool. It was also the first case in which he suggested the concept of transference.

integrative agnosia

a form of visual agnosia in which individuals are able to perceive the elements of an object but find it difficult to combine them into a perceptual whole. Typically, symptoms of both apperceptive and associative agnosia are present. Individuals affected by this kind of agnosia can usually draw an object accurately but only through a laborious process.
