diurnal mood variation

a feature of some bipolar disorders and depressive disorders in which daily, predictable emotional fluctuations occur. Typically, this pattern consists of an elevation of mood during the daytime and evening hours and a depression of mood during the overnight and morning hours. See also seasonal affective disorder.

autophony

n. the hearing of one’s own voice reverberating inside one’s head. Autophony is usually caused by diseases of the middle ear, such as serous otitis media, a condition called patulous eustachian tube in which the eustachian tube remains open, or superior canal dehiscence. Also called autophonia; autophonic response.
