conjunctive task

conjunctive task

a group task or project that cannot be completed successfully until all members of the group have completed their portion of the job (e.g., a factory assembly line). This means that the speed and quality of the work are determined by the least skilled member. Compare additive task; compensatory task; disjunctive task.
