computerized assessment

the process of using a computer to obtain and evaluate psychological information about a person. The computer presents questions or tasks and then makes diagnoses and prognoses based on a comparison of the participant’s responses or performance to databases of previously acquired information on many other individuals. Also called automated assessment.
