community residence

a residential setting, usually serving 3 to 15 people and located in a regular house, with live-in or shift staffing. Community residences—some of which provide clinical services in addition to supervision, personal assistance, and training in everyday living skills—represent the most common out-of-home residential setting for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
