the extensions of the ciliary body that project into the posterior chamber of the eye. The ciliary processes are covered by epithelial cells that produce the aqueous humor and are connected by the zonules to the capsule of the lens.

anterior choroidal artery

a relatively narrow artery that is a posterior branch of the middle cerebral artery. It passes across the optic tract toward the temporal horn of the lateral ventricle and into the choroid plexus, hippocampus, thalamus, amygdala, and related deep structures.
