facilities licensed to provide regular out-of-home care to children during the working day. Child care facilities may be privately run but may also be associated with firms, churches, or social agencies. Such a facility is often referred to as a day care center.

right to die

the right to suicide or physician-assisted suicide that some consider should be available for terminally ill patients (see assisted death). Right-to-die laws have been passed in a few states and countries. This is distinguished from the right to refuse treatment in cases in which the patient is on life support.
