sopite syndrome

a form of motion sickness that may develop after prolonged exposure to relatively gentle motion or rocking, as experienced in a moving bus or a rocking boat. Symptoms include dizziness, nausea, chronic fatigue, lack of initiative, drowsiness, lethargy, apathy, and irritability. These can persist for prolonged periods even after exposure ceases.
