buying behavior

the sum total of the mental processes and physical activities associated with the purchase of products or services. The decision to buy a particular product can occur in a number of stages. Recognition of a need for the product is followed by searching for information about it, evaluating alternative products, and finally making a choice. Experience of using the product after purchase will become a factor in deciding whether or not to purchase it (or a similar product) in the future.
