bromazepam

bromazepam

n. a benzodiazepine used for the treatment of anxiety. It has a short to intermediate duration of action (serum half-life up to 30 hours) and a slow onset of action due to its low lipid solubility (see blood–brain barrier). Bromazepam is not currently available in the United States. Canadian trade name: Lectopam.
