Big Five personality model

Big Five personality model

a model of the primary dimensions of individual differences in personality. The dimensions are usually labeled extraversion, neuroticism, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience, though the labels vary somewhat among researchers. See also five-factor personality model. [described by (among others) U.S. psychologists Lewis R. Goldberg (1932–  ) and Gerard T. Saucier]
