one-way analysis of variance

one-way analysis of variance

an analysis of variance that evaluates the influence of different levels or conditions of a single independent variable upon a dependent variable. The mean values of two or more samples are examined in order to determine the probability that they have been drawn from the same population. Also called one-factor analysis of variance.
