levorphanol

levorphanol

n. an opioid analgesic produced by manipulation of the morphine molecule. Levorphanol is approximately four to six times more potent as an analgesic than morphine and possesses similar risks of dependence and respiratory depression. U.S. trade name: Levo-Dromoran.
