Landau reflex

Landau reflex

a normal reaction observed in infants between the ages of 3 and 12 months: When the child is supported horizontally in the prone position, the head rises and the back arches. Absence of the reflex is a sign of a neurological disorder, such as cerebral palsy or motor neuron disease.
