n.

1. cognitive generation of sensory input from the five senses, individually or collectively, which is recalled from experience or self-generated in a nonexperienced form.

2. mental images considered collectively, or the particular type of imagery characteristic of an individual, such as visual imagery. See imagery cue; imagery training; kinesthetic imagery.
