dependent-samples t test

dependent-samples t test

a t test used to analyze data from two or more sets of associated individuals or from one set of individuals measured on different occasions (e.g., pre- and posttreatment). Also called related-samples t test; repeated measures t test. See within-subjects design. Compare independent-samples t test.
