conversion nonepileptic seizure

conversion nonepileptic seizure

a form of psychogenic nonepileptic seizure (PNES) that is a result of a diagnosed conversion disorder. It is not associated with abnormal electrical activity on an electroencephalogram. Most PNESs are conversion nonepileptic seizures. Also called conversion seizure.
