cardiovascular reactivity

cardiovascular reactivity

the degree of change of cardiovascular responses (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate) to a psychological or physiological challenge or stressor. Exaggerated cardiovascular reactivity may indicate risk for development of cardiovascular conditions, such as hypertension or coronary heart disease.
