bed-wetting

bed-wetting

n. the involuntary discharge of urine during sleep. Bed-wetting is considered problematic if it occurs in children older than 4 or 5 years of age; it is twice as common in boys. Also called sleep enuresis. See also elimination disorder; enuresis.
