Anschauung

n. intuition (German, in which it can also mean “view” or “perception”). In the thought of Immanuel Kant, Anschauung is that means of knowing in which knowledge is immediate and not based on concepts. According to Kant, one’s knowledge of sensible objects is of this kind.
